Company Overview
A Wheeling, WV based CPA Firm with more than 20 employees and providing tax, accounting, and consulting services to clients primarily in the Upper Ohio Valley Region is seeking a Full-Time Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist to join its growing team.
Primary Responsibilities
This position will involve bookkeeping-related tasks with an emphasis on preparation of payrolls for numerous clients within the Firm. Duties include:
· Processing payroll with high efficiency and accuracy.
· Accounts payable processing.
· Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations.
Requirements
· Five years of experience working with the processing of payroll and with quarterly and annual payroll tax reporting.
· Thorough understanding of accounting concepts including a demonstrated working knowledge of QuickBooks Online.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Professional demeaner and ability to handle confidential information.
Compensation and Benefits
· Base compensation will be commensurate with experience level.
· Standard work week is four and one-half days with Friday afternoons off. Some seasonal overtime may be required.
· Full-single health insurance coverage and participation in a 401(k) Profit Sharing Retirement Plan.
