POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales Coordinator plays a key role in supporting both inside and outside sales teams by managing essential sales processes and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This position is responsible for data entry, contract processing, reviewing contracts, and conducting follow-ups to help convert leads into customers. Additionally, this role assists with training new sales representatives and streamlining sales workflows. This is a growth-oriented position with the potential to evolve into a leadership role.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
- Collaborate with inside and outside sales teams to ensure accurate and timely data entry and record-keeping.
- Manage contract processing, including reviewing contracts for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct follow-ups with potential and existing customers to drive sales and strengthen relationships.
- Support sales efforts by preparing quotes, proposals, and customer communications.
- Assist in the training and onboarding of new sales representatives.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Maintain and update customer databases and sales records.
- Help develop and refine sales processes and best practices.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team as needed.
- Mentor and train team members to strengthen the overall sales team.
- Interpret and analyze sales data to drive strategic decisions and improvements.
- Proactively identify and solve problems to enhance sales efficiency.
CAPABILITIES / KEY COMPETENCIES:
- 2 years of experience in a sales support, sales operations, or related role.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.
- Excellent organizational and data management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Experience in the fence or construction industry is a plus.
- Spanish speaking required
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales support tools.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods while working on a computer or in meetings.
- Occasional lifting of files or materials up to 25 pounds.
