Responsibilities
- Assemble and install various types of fencing, including wood, vinyl, chain link, and wrought iron.
- Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials on construction sites.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks as needed to prepare installation sites.
- Execute hardscape projects that may involve concrete finishing and forming.
- Utilize carpentry skills for framing and structural support during installations.
- Operate tools and equipment safely while adhering to all safety regulations on the construction site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fence installation or related construction fields is preferred.
- Strong skills in carpentry, including frame carpentry techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the workday.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices is a plus.
- Experience in hardscape projects involving concrete finishing or forming is advantageous.
- Basic welding skills are desirable but not mandatory.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
