What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at Fencing Supply Group?
The Senior Accountant assists in all aspects of accounting for corporate and investor financial reporting, including but not limited to financial analysis, account reconciliation, and reconciliation of bank accounts. This position reports directly to the Accounting Manager and has no direct reports. This will be a remote/hybrid role.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded
- Bank reconciliations, cash applications, journal entries
- Reconciliations of subsidiary ledger accounts, financial analysis
- Prepares journal entries
- Other general duties assigned as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance is required
- 1- 3 years of related accounting experience with multi-unit experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications with a heavy emphasis on EXCEL
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Ability to be a team player and be customer service oriented
