Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of food orders before delivering them to customers
- Assist with food preparation tasks, such as garnishing plates and assembling dishes
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from customers
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or inquiries from customers
- Clear tables and assist with bussing duties as needed
- Operate the POS system to process food orders and payments accurately
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a food runner or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and kitchen staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- A positive attitude and a passion for hospitality and culinary excellence
