Description : Job Summary :
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating leads, conducting market research, and supporting the sales team to drive business growth within the paint and coatings industry. This role requires proficiency with Zoom Info , the ability to research markets and trends, and strong communication skills to engage with customers and internal teams. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to the VP of Industrial Sales .

Sales & Market Research Responsibilities
- Utilize Zoom Info and other research tools to identify potential customers and build targeted lead lists.
- Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities.
- Generate and qualify leads for the outside sales team, ensuring a steady pipeline of prospects.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and prospect information in the CRM system.
- Identify new sales opportunities through inbound and outbound prospecting efforts.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop strategies for customer outreach and engagement.
Customer Engagement & Sales Support
Act as the first point of contact for inbound sales inquiries, providing information and directing leads appropriately.Support outside sales representatives by scheduling appointments, following up on leads, and providing necessary sales materials.Assist in developing and executing inside sales initiatives to drive revenue growth.Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.Effectively communicate customer needs and feedback to the sales and product development teams.Support customer service functions by addressing inquiries and ensuring a seamless buying experience.Administrative & Reporting Responsibilities
Track and report key sales metrics, including lead conversion rates and sales performance.Compile and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for sales strategies.Assist in the creation of sales presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.Stay informed about product developments, industry trends, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Strong proficiency with Zoom Info and other market research tools.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage customers and internal stakeholders.Strong analytical skills to research and interpret market trends effectively.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) is a plus.Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.Cultural Traits

Requirements :
Experience & Education
High school diploma required ; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.Experience in the paint and coatings industry is a plus.Minimum of 2-5 years of inside sales experience , preferably in a B2B environment.Prior experience conducting market research and lead generation is preferred.This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a motivated sales professional to contribute to a growing company while developing their career in the paint and coatings industry.
