What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative position at Fenner, Inc.?
This position is responsible for the sale of the mining organization's products in a specified region or major geographical area and provides ongoing support to product distribution channel.

- Drive top line sales growth in territory or region.
- Assists Customers with organizational skills, account strategies, territory planning and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Utilizes Selling Program to drive sales by guiding strategic partnerships in product portfolios with customers.
- Develops sales plan to increase sales revenue to meet assigned targets.
- Becomes actively involved in sales orientation and sales training programs for our distributor sales teams and associates.
- Acts as a resource to Distributors and Customers in Sales planning, Product and Industry knowledge, contract opportunities and proposals.
- Work with our distributors sales managers to align their sales strategies with joint initiatives and introduce to their sales team.
- Documents success in cost savings initiative
- Plans sales exhibits and trade show agendas.
- Participates in education and training conferences on selling and marketing programs.
- Coordinates and assists in leading sales meetings to include site selection and agenda preparation.
- Keeps informed of new products, services and other general information of interest to customers. Checks on competitive activity and develops new methods of attaining customers and assisting Agencies in attaining new accounts.
- Troubleshoots problems regarding products provided. Answers questions from customers and handles complaints.
- Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
- This position may involve hours worked over 40 in a given week and travel of up to 50%.

Education and/or Relative Experience: (The level of education and/or experience needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job.)(Also show level of education needed for Career Progression)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. A degree in Mining Engineering, secondary degree or active pursuit of a Mining Engineering degree (e.g., expected graduation in Spring) will be considered as equivalent to practical experience
- At least three years of field sales experience or progressive sales experience.
- Five plus years of sales experience with proven track record
- Mining, Manufacturing or Industrial product sales experience a plus
