The Business Development Specialist supports the Regional or OEM Sales Managers assisting in maintaining sales growth through account management, lead qualification, market research and inside sales by creating key relationships with existing and new customers. This position may offer the flexibility to work remotely if agreed upon by management.

- Manage key accounts in support of existing business with an emphasis on new opportunities and sales growth.
- Quickly and accurately provide quotes, enter cases and RGA’s, set up new customers and provide tracking information to customers.
- Qualify incoming leads and convert to sales when deemed appropriate.
- Manage inbound customer calls and requests.
- Actively engage with our CRM platform by performing daily tasks to keep all customer information (contacts, call reports, cases, A.D.S.’s opportunities, etc.) up to date and accurate.
- Work with and communicate regularly with the outside field sales team (National, Regional & OEM Sales Managers & Manufacturer’s Representatives) to provide an industry leading customer experience.
- Assist the outside field sales team by following up on quotes, providing leads, customer information, market information, etc.
- Work with operations, supply chain and product managers to prioritize product, customer needs and forecasts.
- Assists with training and onboarding of new Business Development Specialists.
- Other duties as assigned.
