JOB SUMMARY
Ferguson Construction is an award-winning general contracting company specializing in manufacturing and industrial buildings, medical office buildings, healthcare facilities, retail, and commercial spaces. This position supports the corporate department in Sidney, OH as well as our Dayton region. This is a full-time temporary position based either in Sidney or Dayton, Ohio. We expect the position to last at least 3 months, and could lead to more permanent employment for the right person.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Support HR and Operations with administrative tasks, including data entry and filing
- Maintain and update employee scheduling databases and records
- Process time records for all field staff in our Dayton and Sidney regions
- Manage daily call-ins, vacation schedules, and attendance tracking
- Communicate effectively with team members to confirm schedules and changes
- Keep databases updated when new jobs are started or completed
- Assist in prioritizing tasks and managing time-sensitive requests
- Update and monitor our applicant tracking system to recruit for open positions, and schedule interviews with the appropriate hiring manager
- Manage the ordering, distribution, and organization of company uniforms
- Support HR team members who are responsible for the launch of our new HRIS
- Distribute all service awards
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND EDUCATION
- Experience in HR administration preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities
- Experience utilizing an applicant tracking system (ATS), iSolved preferred
- Dependable and able to consistently follow through on tasks and assignments
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
