What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Support Specialist-Front Desk position at Ferguson Property Management?
Position Overview
You will assist with the day-to-day functions of the office including the front office and property administrators.
Essential Job Functions
Provide complete, professional administrative support including:
· Focusing on and promoting retention of current owner and tenants by providing prompt, friendly and accurate responses to questions/concerns via phone and email
· Consistent use of correct grammar and punctuation in written communication to owners, vendors, and tenants
- Processing rental applications
- Filing documents
- Preparing documents as necessary (i.e., tenant notices, deposit agreements and lease agreements)
- Maintaining and updating records (i.e., renters’ insurance coverage, home warranty information, contact information)
- Assisting with quality control of records
- Scheduling meetings and appointments
- Preparing mailings as necessary
- Maintaining website database
- Working on special projects as assigned
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Assisting other members of the staff from time to time

Education:
· High school diploma or equivalent is required. A two-year degree in secretarial science or college level classes in English and Business or Marketing is highly desirable, but a combination of experience and education may be substituted.
Experience/Knowledge:
· Demonstrated high level of efficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) required
- Experience with Propertyware software preferred
- Experience working in an office setting and or retail experience is preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
