Ferguson Industrial Integrated Supply has a position open for a Purchasing Agent servicing our customer, GE Aerospace, located in Evendale, Ohio. This position will be onsite at the customer’s facility working alongside maintenance personnel and technicians in a manufacturing environment. The company produces aircraft engines for use in commercial and military aircraft.
Integrated Supply is responsible for the procurement, management, and distribution of maintenance, repair, and operating (MRO) materials. We manage day-to-day purchases for our customers, driving cost savings and implementing efficiencies.
As a Purchasing Agent, you will provide support to our customer by purchasing products to ensure inventory service level goals are met. Core responsibilities include ordering indirect (non-production) materials needed by the customer, focusing on direct-from-vendor products. Prior buyer or purchasing experience is required. If you have excellent customer service skills, strong critical thinking skills and experience juggling multiple requests while still meeting urgent deadlines, this is a great opportunity to grow with an industry leader.

Pay Range:
$3,075.30 - $6,783.70
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.

- Maintain records to prepare purchase orders
- Ensure purchasing issues are addressed
- Request quotes and build vendor relationships
- Resolve payable discrepancies
- Achieve company goals for inventory and service levels
- Expedite purchase orders
- Work in accordance with safety standards and policies
- Display high levels of customer service
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years Prior purchasing or buying experience
- Excel proficiency of v-lookups, concatenate, pivot tables
- Strong customer service skills
- Flexible, multitasking skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage details and meet deliverables
