Warehouse Manager

Currently, we’re seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our team and provide leadership for the distribution center team. This individual will be responsible for setting high standards and goals for the distribution center and ensuring that these standards and goals are achieved.
This professional multitasker will assist in managing and processing the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards and efficiencies are met timely. You must achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate orders, and track shipping times, for the fulfillment of tens of thousands of luxury product orders every year.
The ideal candidate requires a results-oriented, high-energy, dynamic individual with both stamina and agility to be able to work and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth distribution center. Excellent/effective communication skills with all levels of management and staff are highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, by planning, organizing, processing, directing, and executing all operating functions with team and warehouse staff to meet daily, weekly, seasonal operational goals.
- Leverage warehouse operations systems to determine the most efficient product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, and inventory management to meet all shipping requirements
- Train, manage and work alongside the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues to achieve short- and long-term performance goals.
- Oversee daily operations, while controlling related budgets to maximize all logistics operations.
- Supervise and participate in physical counts of inventory and reconcile with systems data to maintain adequate inventory levels
- Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality, and customer service standards are met and communicate operating efficiency or demands back with executive team.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
Responsibilities – Daily, Weekly, and Seasonal
- Ensure the daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service are met.
- Schedule, oversee, and partake with the warehouse team to meet the demands of the distribution center, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency within the allotted time
- Inspect product, equipment, and work area for general maintenance as needed.
- Meet regularly with warehouse leads to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity, receiving timely fulfillment and shipment of orders, and loss prevention.
Qualification and Skill Set
- At least 5-years’ experience in a warehouse professional or lead role processing and/or managing hourly employees
- Experience in B2C business (min 3 years)
- Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy
- Knowledge with pick and pack applications
- Knowledge of EDI order processing with Major Customers (ex. Saks, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, etc).
- Excellent work flow planning, problem-solving skills, and leadership qualities
- Certified to operate forklifts, order pickers, electronic pallet jacks, etc
- Knowledgeable of OSHA guidelines
- Ability to work with all levels of company staff
- Comfortable delivering direct written and oral feedback
- Reliable! Able to work well with other team members
- Computer and systems knowledgeable – Microsoft, WMS (CLICK), SAP
- Bilingual (English, Spanish)
