Job Overview
Ferrari of New England is seeking a qualified and experienced Business Development Center Representative (BDC Rep) to join our team. As the BDC Rep, you will be responsible for managing the flow of inbound leads from various sources, including phone and internet, ensuring they are directed at the appropriate contacts within the dealership. This role will also foster contact with our existing customers through phone and email to ensure they are up to date with all things related to the brand and the dealership.
The BDC rep will continue to grow our pipeline; they will network, cold call, and leverage referrals to create partnerships that can benefit the dealership and to ensure they know we are always appreciative of their brand loyalty.
Duties
- Manage all incoming leads (phone, Internet) and direct to appropriate contact.
- Contact existing customers (phone, email) to maintain and improve customer loyalty.
- Manage and track all leads, follow-up on aged sales leads.
- Answer customer inquiries and calls when necessary.
- Manage our customer contacts through CRM, service, follow-up, and lead generations.
- Schedule sales appointments and reschedule no-show customers.
- Develop a pipeline of sales and business opportunity (partnerships, etc.) leads through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
- In conjunction with the sales department, develop sales strategies and techniques to drive sales.
- Research and stay current in consumer and industry trends.
- Communicate industry news and trends to management and dealership employees.
- Ensure all internet leads are followed up with through completion of sale.
- Provide the highest degree of customer service ensuring customer satisfaction; always exhibit integrity and be honest in all aspects of customer interaction.
- Work closely with GM, GSM, and Department Managers to develop appointment setting strategies.
Requirements
- Outstanding customer service is at the heart of this role. You will be expected to provide exceptional service to all customers, ensuring their needs are met and their experiences with the brands are positive.
- Previous Automotive industry is required, preferably including automotive sales experience.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary; must be able to adjust communication style to suit the listener.
- Must have competitive drive and possess and be goal driven.
- Team player with positive energy and an eagerness to improve.
- Previous management experience preferred.
- Must be relentless in learning about all new product offerings, models, and inventories. Must become an expert in talking about all the products.
- Strong computer skills.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience with BDC/Internet
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
