Job Summary:
The position of the Receptionist is non-exempt from the overtime provisions of the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act and shall be entitled to overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 in any one work week.
The Receptionist shall be responsible for directing all incoming calls to the appropriate associate, as well as greeting and checking in all guests that enter the building. This individual should present a positive, friendly, and inviting reception for customers, vendors, and employees. A Receptionist’s main aim is to be outgoing, friendly, articulate, and enjoy speaking with customers.
The Receptionist shall be accountable to, and supervised by, the Customer Service Manager.
Essential Job Functions:
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate employee when the employee is not available.
- Take and retrieve messages for employees.
- Greet and sign in all vendors, clients, customers, and applicants appropriately.
- Provide callers with information such as company address, directions to the company, company fax number, company website, and other related information.
- Sign for packages and send out daily mail.
- Perform basic administrative duties.
- Create UPS shipping labels and coordinate shipments.

- Ability to multi-task.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- High School Diploma and/or 3 years of job-related experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer experience, preferably with all Microsoft applications
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
