The Business Development Representative is responsible for developing and nurturing long-lasting business relationships to drive sales growth for our client. This role involves generating new business and maintaining existing relationships with key decision-makers such as Facility Directors, Chief Engineers, General Managers, VPs, and C-Suite executives. The ideal candidate will utilize a consultative sales approach to convert prospects into clients and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Cultivate strong professional relationships with commercial decision-makers, centers of influence, and referral partners to expand a portfolio of commercial accounts.
  • Manage and nurture existing client and partner relationships while creating new account relationships.
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle from prospect identification to customer relationship formalization and ongoing customer experience management.
  • Conduct effective, in-person sales meetings.
  • Plan and manage appointment schedules efficiently.
  • Maintain exceptional internal and external communication and accurate sales documentation.
  • Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customer experience.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas and goals.
  • Create and maintain sales activity reports.
  • Analyze and implement business development opportunities and strategies.
  • Identify and initiate contact with target customers and influencers, including facility executives, operations leaders, property management professionals, insurance agents, adjusters, plumbers, and realtors.
  • Visit job sites and collaborate with project managers and operations colleagues to support customer experience excellence.
  • Actively participate and network in industry-related trade organizations to promote company services.
  • Strengthen relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Have fun and contribute to the growth of the business!

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in outside sales.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience.
