About the Opportunity
Ferretti Search is excited to partner with an established company in Detroit as they seek a Compensation & Benefits Manager to develop, manage, and optimize its total rewards programs. This role will be critical in ensuring that compensation structures remain competitive, equitable, and aligned with business objectives, while also overseeing benefits administration and compliance. As part of a growing organization, this role offers a chance to build and refine compensation strategies, enhance employee engagement, and partner closely with leadership to drive HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage compensation structures, including base pay, incentive programs, and job evaluations.
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure salaries remain competitive.
- Oversee benefits administration, including healthcare, retirement plans, and wellness programs.
- Lead the annual compensation review process, ensuring pay equity and alignment with business goals.
- Provide insights and recommendations on total rewards strategy to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation and benefits.
- Partner with HR, finance, and leadership teams to optimize processes and improve employee experience.
- Utilize HRIS and analytics tools to develop data-driven compensation strategies.
- Educate employees and managers on compensation and benefits policies to enhance transparency and engagement.
What You Bring
- 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits management.
- Strong knowledge of job evaluation, salary surveys, and benchmarking methodologies.
- Experience with HRIS and compensation analytics tools.
- Familiarity with federal and state regulations impacting compensation and benefits.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with HR, finance, and leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or SHRM certification preferred.
