Senior Accountant

Ferretti Search is delighted to partner with a growing manufacturing company to locate their next Senior Accountant.

Location: Columbus, OH

Compensation: $75K - $85K

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the ERP implementation by supporting finance-related system configurations, data validation, and process optimization efforts.
• Serve as a key resource for the finance team, addressing accounting needs and collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective solutions.
• Gain a thorough understanding of the ERP system to assist in financial reporting, transaction processing, and ensuring system functionality.
• Provide training and continuous support to ERP end-users, troubleshooting and resolving any system-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, IT, and Engineering, to ensure ERP system solutions align with operational requirements.
• Conduct data validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data being migrated into the new system.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives, optimizing financial workflows for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Leverage Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for data analysis, reporting, and documentation purposes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred).
• IFC ERP implementation experience required
• 5-8 years of relevant accounting experience, including hands-on involvement with ERP system implementation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems that support multi-currency, multi-site, and multi-entity environments.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and train others.
• Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining coordination with team members.
• Experience working with global companies (Preferred)
