Summary of Position:
A full-time, 3 year temporary position that will direct and expand the College's existing recruitment efforts and coordinate all admission processes. The Recruitment and Admissions Administrator will report to the Assistant Dean of Student Success. The position will require substantial contact, virtual and in-person, with prospective students, applicants, and newly admitted students both internal to the University and from external colleges and universities. The administrator will work closely with the Assistant Dean and the College's Admissions Committee to implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy reliant on both traditional recruitment efforts and social media marketing. The admissions process will be directed by the Admissions Committee and the Recruitment and Admissions Administrator will assist with advancement of the College’s holistic process. Direct contact with prospective students and applicants will require effective interpersonal and communication skills. Event planning and participation in recruitment events will be required and may involve evenings and weekends and regional travel. Effective interface with the PharmCAS application portal will require computer skills and a working knowledge of the portal. The Recruitment/Admissions Administrator will be expected to have a working knowledge of the College and its curriculum and be able to properly triage inquiries to the Assistant Dean and Admissions Committee Chair.

Three years' experience in a fast-paced office heavily reliant on customer satisfaction and excellent communication. Ability to demonstrate proficiency in MS Office Suite, CRM, marketing and related systems.

Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered:
Experience with higher education recruitment and admissions or student enrollment services. Previous Banner experience. Reliability and the ability to work autonomously are essential. Knowledge current best practices in recruitment and the admissions process, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment will be vital.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Respond to inquiries and advise prospective students/applicants regarding the profession of pharmacy, admission requirements, admissions policies and procedures through in-person and virtual events.
Represent the College at recruitment events and health professions career fairs across the state
Staff evening and weekend recruitment and admissions events
Independently prepare, maintain, and/or interpret various records, correspondence, documents, and files related to recruitment opportunities and admissions.
Assist in processing application materials and maintains admissions records using the PharmCAS portal.
Collaborate with the College’s social media team and the admissions committee in the development of recruitment and promotional materials.
Prepare, send, receive, analyze, and interpret a variety of student documents in a manner that ensures confidentiality and accuracy.
Provide outstanding service to a wide variety of constituents including prospective students, parents and enrolled students.
Quickly resolve issues that may arise, and anticipate issues before they occur.
Answer telephone, email, and text messages promptly and with accuracy.
Plan, schedule, and attend recruitment events and health professions fairs.
Responsibly address sensitive and confidential matters with an understanding of FERPA protected communications.
Support the admissions team’s efforts to grow the applicant pool and enhance the admissions yield rate and continually enhance the diversity of the applicant pool.
Perform all duties in compliance with applicable University policies and procedures and state and federal requirements.
Consult with the Assistant Dean regarding polices, processes, and unique applicant issues.
Regularly report to the Assistant Dean and Admissions Committee metrics related to recruitment efforts and effectiveness, applicant numbers, admissions metrics and demographics and prepare written reports when requested.
Support, promote, and develop University student enrollment and retention initiatives.
Demonstrates an understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, especially in working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community members.
Operates motorized vehicles in a safe manner while performing job duties.
Any other duties assigned within the position classification area.
