Job Description
What You’ll Do as a Festival Foods IT System Engineer Manager:
- Lead and Support: Provide hands-on leadership to your team while overseeing both strategic initiatives and day-to-day IT operations.
- Optimize and Manage: Oversee enterprise servers, storage, Azure environments, backups, patch management, monitoring, and data center operations.
- Shape the Future: Develop a clear technology roadmap, align business priorities, and implement improvements that drive results.
- Coach and Mentor: Invest in your team’s growth through training, development, and leadership support.
- Collaborate and Plan: Partner with stakeholders to understand needs, influence technology decisions, and deliver solutions within budget and capacity plans.
- Support the Team: Other duties as assigned.
- Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
What You’ll Bring to our Information Technology Team:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, IT, or related.
- 10 years of IT System Engineering experience.
- 5 years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
- A proven ability to solve complex problems, analyze needs, and implement innovative solutions.
- Enthusiasm for emerging technologies and a passion for operational excellence.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on building relationships across teams.
- Experience in managing technology lifecycles, including monitoring, patching, and system documentation.
