Job Title: Event Coordinator
Job Summary
We are a full-service event décor provider seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the creative brainstorming and event conception process, as well as executing event décor plans, diagrams, photos, mock-ups, and storyboards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creative brainstorming and event conception
- Create event orders based on Designers' mood boards
- Assist in the execution of event décor plans, diagrams, photos, mock-ups, and storyboards
- Account client/subscription orders and follow-up
- Thorough documentation in database system of client orders and vision
- Preparation of planning documents in order to fulfill client events and prepare onsite staff
Sales
- Phone & in-person consultations
- Responding to customer inquiries, developing quotes and proposals
- Sales follow-up
- Assistance in general company marketing efforts
- Assist Manager, Event Design Sales by expediting turnaround time to client
Event & Office Procedures
- Participation in companywide efforts to streamline efforts and implement procedures
- Learng and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and actively participate in new initiatives
- Active participation in furthering company goals and company reputation
Event Operations
- Lead key event sets and oversee a team of onsite event staff
- Become familiar and document venue policies to ensure proper quoting to clients

- Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in all Minnesota weather conditions year-round (extreme heat, cold, rain, snow).
- May be exposed to variable temperatures between indoor and outdoor environments.
- Must be able to safely navigate various terrain including stairs, ramps, unpaved surfaces, and uneven ground.
- Manual dexterity required for handling delicate décor items and equipment.
- May require working at heights on secure ladders or lifts.
- Ability to maintain balance while carrying items.
- May be exposed to typical event environment elements including but not limited to: dust, pollen, and other airborne particles; various cleaning solutions and materials; variable noise levels; variable lighting conditions.

- Event management, production or sales experience in event decor, event rental, event tenting, AV, convention services, or related.

This is an at-will position, meaning either the employee or Festivities may terminate employment at any time, with or without cause, in accordance with applicable laws.
