Logistics Coordinator
Location: Greer, SC
Hourly Pay Rate: $19/hour
We are seeking a reliable Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Greer, SC. This role is crucial to ensuring efficient operations in our warehouse, including assistance with various hands-on warehouse and logistics operations, supporting the logistics team to ensure efficient and effective processes across the supply chain including flow of goods within a warehouse setting, order receiving, and shipment preparations.
*The position is considered temporary for 6 months but may be extended depending on candidate performance and company need.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming shipments
- Organize material in warehouse
- Handle entry of material orders in SAP system
- Load/unload material from trucks
- Utilize forklift for material handling
- Sort, label, and organize stock in the warehouse
- Perform inventory counts and update records
- Assist with packing and shipping customer orders
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist Purchasing department with quotations and material deliveries follow up
- Transport local deliveries and pick ups via company car (truck)
Requirements:
- 1 year work experience within a warehouse setting preferred
- Forklift experience preferred (FFT willing to provide training and certification)
- Highschool degree or GED required
- Excel experience required
- SAP experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge and understanding of basic handling of loads
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Ability to remain on your feet for long periods of time
- Ability to lift moderately heavy (50 lbs.)
