About the Role
Fgf Brands is a leading North American bakery company seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing high-volume food manufacturing equipment.
As an Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will prioritize personnel and food safety at all times. Your primary responsibility will be to respond and react to mechanical issues in the production environment in a timely and efficient manner.
You will also complete maintenance projects, including PM tasks and work orders as assigned. Additionally, you will read electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams, write parts requests, complete work orders, and write corrective work orders.
This position requires strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with a basic understanding of AC/DC motors, motor control circuits, and photoeyes/sensors. Knowledge of conveyance systems is a plus.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of work experience in a maintenance mechanic environment and be computer literate. Familiarity with CMMS work order systems and a food manufacturing background are also preferred.
Key Responsibilities
