Key Responsibilities:
- Complete Work Orders: Efficiently respond to and complete assigned work orders, including repairs, installations, and modifications, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
- Perform Repairs & Maintenance: Diagnose issues and conduct necessary repairs to equipment, fixtures, and facility structures. Responsibilities may include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical systems, and more.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance on systems and equipment, identifying potential issues before they become critical and ensuring the smooth operation of all facility functions.
- Inventory Management: Maintain a well-organized material and supply inventory, ensuring that all necessary tools and materials are available for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Coordination with Contractors: Manage and oversee the work performed by outside contractors and vendors when necessary. Ensure that all third-party work complies with company standards and is completed within agreed-upon timelines.
- Estimate Repairs: Accurately estimate the time, resources, and materials needed to complete various repair jobs and keep the team informed of repair status and progress.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience in facility maintenance, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with a broad range of maintenance tools, systems, and equipment, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to handle a physically demanding workload, including lifting, climbing, and other physical tasks necessary for maintaining a large facility.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, especially when diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining records of completed tasks.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively, work within deadlines, and prioritize tasks to ensure all work orders and repairs are completed in a timely manner.
- Problem-Solving: Capable of assessing situations quickly and determining the best course of action to resolve facility issues.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, management, and external contractors.
