Freedom, a national Direct Mail Company, is one of the largest, independently owned, privately held, direct mail marketing providers in the United States. Why Freedom? Because we are a leader in the direct mail space, investing in technology and resources to facilitate innovative ideas, and we’re looking to add an Account Manager to our team.
Our Account Managers plan and implement direct mail print projects. They serve as the primary contact for their assigned clients and partner with cross-functional teams across the organization to coordinate all project components.
A successful Account Manager will show mastery of the following skills:
- Build rapport with customers while demonstrating self-sufficiency, managing and prioritizing daily activities effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and utilizing excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Manages, tracks, and reports on complex print and mail projects to successful completion.
- Employs best practices to ensure accuracy in approving proofs for print and mail projects.
- Creates and maintains accurate documents such as schedules, mail plans, production grids, vendor instructions, inventory, and status reports that are shared with clients, vendors, or cross-functional teams.
- Manages financial activities through the creation of purchase orders and the review of prebills.
- Leverages print expertise to advise cross-functional teams on how to optimize production and/or cost.
- Collaborates with management to identify opportunities to streamline print production processes and develop new procedures that support the organization and create cost efficiencies.
Education and Experience:
- College degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years in a customer service/account manager role in a non-call center environment.
- Experience in direct mail or the printing industry is highly preferred.
- Is proficient in Word, and in using Outlook, and has intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and PDF Writable software.
