Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Operations Manager to oversee our daily operations and drive strategic initiatives. Duties
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure products availability and minimize discrepancies
- Perform regular stock audits and coordinate with procurement teams for restocking
- Oversee warehouse staff, including training and scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure team compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Plan and optimize warehouse layouts to improve operational efficiency
- Supervise receiving, storage, and distribution processes to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Schedule routine maintenance and inspections for warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and cherry pickers
- Address equipment breakdowns promptly to avoid operational delays
- Generate regular reports on warehouse performance metrics
- Analyze data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service team to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Address and resolve customer complaints related to shipping or inventory issues
- Develop and manage the warehouse budget, including labor, equipment, and operation expenses
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or efficiency
- Managing data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reducing cost per unit, eliminating errors, including but not limited to 3PL’s
- Oversee and manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure efficient warehouse operations and cost-effective logistics solutions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
