ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Work safely and productively in all areas of the job and maintain a clean and uncluttered work area.    
• Operates pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment as needed, depending on the assignment.    
• The company designates this position as safety-sensitive, and the candidate must be able to work in a constant state of alertness.   
• Engages promptly to requests for assignments.  
• Acknowledges that this job profile is not a comprehensive list of tasks, duties, or responsibilities required of the associate; duties, obligations, and activities may change at any time at the discretion of management.   

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and squat most of the workday.  
• Handle cases weighing from up to 60 pounds.  
• Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms or alarms) in moderate to loud work environments.   

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

We believe that skills and experience are what truly matter. While education can be a valuable asset, it is not required to succeed in this role.

Experience:

Prior experience as a warehouse associate is required for this Warehouse Specialist role. 

Knowledge/Skills:

• Good verbal/written communication skills.  
• Ability to speak, read, and write English for effective communication.  
• Basic math skills.  
• Previous warehouse experience.  
• Willingness to work and available for assignment-based work.   
• Attention to detail and ability to follow directions.  
• Interact respectfully and courteously with associates, co-workers, management, and customers.  
• Ability to work in a team environment.  

Work Environment:  

The company has designated this position as safety-sensitive, and the ability to work constantly with alertness and safety is required. The warehouse environment could potentially have extreme heat and cold temperatures.
