The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for talent acquisition that is effective in meeting aggressive staffing plans. This position will focus primarily on recruiting handlers, leads, and managers to fill warehouse labor positions. Must recruit candidates for direct hire, and develop and maintain a pipeline of key talent available for immediate and future hire. The recruiter will work with hiring managers and the FHI Staffing Manager to execute staffing plans. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the entire hiring process, from sourcing to onboarding. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal team members, staffing vendors, professional organizations, and reputable independent contractors to help identify and source qualified talent. Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activities. Observe legal compliance requirements within the talent acquisition process. The recruiter will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, creating and posting ads, reviewing applications/resumes, interviewing, scheduling walk-through interviews with onsite managers, and assisting with onboarding.

Responsibilities:
- Source and recruit large numbers of warehouse personnel on short notice.
- Must have experience working with applicant tracking systems.
- Considerable knowledge of hiring laws and practices (SPHR or PHR certification preferred).
- Ability to multi-task and handle heavy call volume
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under time pressures
- Experience using social media recruitment strategies.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Prior experience using Workday and ATS
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Focus on results and works with a sense of deliberate urgency, and excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Unquestioned integrity & commitment to team objectives.
- Proficient use of behavioral interview techniques.
- Ability to work with unstructured problems in an environment with incomplete data/information.
- Ability to work with highly confidential information
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, human resources, or related area preferred.
- Human Resources experience preferred.
- 5 years of recruiting experience (either corporate or agency)
- Professional demeanor and a positive attitude
- Willingness for limited travel including some overnight stays will be required.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
