POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Administrative Supervisor is essential in ensuring accuracy within the Quality department to further our objective of providing 100% quality products to our customers as well as adhering to our AS9100 certification. This role will provide direct supervision through leadership and mentoring to the quality admins and provide guidance and support to the quality inspection team. This role has direct input on work performance, daily operations, and daily outputs for the department.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee Net Inspect FAI’s.
- Serve as management Representative for management reviews, prepping for the audit, and assist with maintaining the QMS.
- Initiate, take part in and engage in corrective actions for processes or customer rejections.
- Manage the quality training process for all employees as required for our AS9100 certification, through the creating and delivery of training to employees to ensure consistent understanding and application across all levels of the organization.
- Perform regular audits of processes and products to identify areas of improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints related to quality, documenting issues and the actions taken to correct or improve.
- Maintain quality documentation, such as procedures, instructions, and quality records to support the QMS.
- Lead and assist it the preparation of Internal/External Audits, collaborating with multiple departments to gather and analyze data.
- Monitor and report on quality performance metrics to Quality Manager, noting trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate the calibration and maintenance of inspection, measuring and test equipment to ensure ongoing accuracy and reliability.
- Managing the document control process and assisting in maintaining all quality documents, rev roles, and maintaining in an organized and structured manner
- Work directly with customers to assist with resolution of any quality issues, rejections, etc. to provide advanced customer service, ensuring resolution is reached while protecting interest of Fiber Pad.
- Assisting the Quality Manager and proving QA support as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols while working around materials and equipment.
- Assist in all phases of housekeeping to keep the facility clean and organized to help maintain a neat and tidy work area.
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned by leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous Quality Admin/Supervisory experience, with 3 years AS9100 QMS experience.
- Advanced communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- MS Office, specifically advanced excel with formulas and Pivot tables.
- Demonstrated experience leading a team, with proven ability to lead and motivate others.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints to compare product details to customer specifications.
- Ability to work and function in a team environment, providing collaborative input.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and tasks at once with interruptions.
- Strong editing, proofreading and math skills.
- Strong attention to detail as required when preparing and reviewing compliance documentation.
- Experience with editing within Adobe software.
- Ability to interact with customers and Leadership in a professional manner.
- Ability to lead and direct personnel while providing a coaching and mentoring environment.
- High level of dependability regarding attendance and punctuality.
- ERP experience, working within Visual a plus.
- Ability to collaborate and work well within a team environment, and willingness to motivate and support others, supporting the Core Values of Fiber Pad.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to use hands, including fingers to hold, touch, see, feel, grip, squeeze, push and pull as required for testing but also performing computer work.
- Ability to see near and far, utilize peripheral vision and depth perception for tasks being performed, as well as visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and drawings, small parts, viewing a computer screen for extended periods of time, and extensive reading.
- Ability to hear at normal speaking levels with or without correction.
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make the discriminations in sound.
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete floor intermittently throughout the workday.
- Ability to regularly lift and or move up to 5lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs. rarely.
- Ability to understand and communicate verbally, in person and over paging system.
- Ability to meet requirements of and utilize all PPE when required.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
The environment described here is meant to be representative of those an employee would normally encounter while performing the essential functions of the job. The physical environment requires the employee to work inside in a climate-controlled environment, with exposure to production noise. Required to use PPE while performing job functions. Most of the work is performed within a standard office environment with frequent trips to the production area which exposes employee to heat/cold environments.
SPECIAL JOB DIMENSIONS
Work involves overtime and could involve schedule changes based on company need. Requires adherence to deadlines and project completion deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
