Production Operator

Shift Hours 10 hours days:Monday- Thursday 6am-4pm
*Occasional Overtime available on Fridays.
What You Can Expect:
- Because we’re a safety-first culture, a primary responsibility will be ensuring top-notch operations, maintenance, cleanliness and standard operations of the equipment.
- Follow all Safety, Quality, and Environmental Policies and Programs such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and HACCP Programs for safety of self and others as well as overall compliance
- Packaging food products per customer specifications. This includes sealing, proper labeling, and palletizing.
- Responsible for checking labels against customer specifications for proper product name, lot and sequence numbers.
- Inspect equipment to ensure it is in top working order, reporting any problems
- Develop working knowledge and safety of production equipment and operations according to developed standards.
- .All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
- Self-starter; ability to work independently or with minimal direction, and navigate situations effectively.
- Communicate effectively both written and verbally.
- Work in a team environment.
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Experience working in a food production or clean work environment is a plus
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to lift 45 pounds frequently.
- Ability to squat, bent, twist.
