Laboratory Technician
The Laboratory Technician is responsible for laboratory testing, monitoring, ensuring adherence to quality requirements, and release of products against specifications. The job will also maintain close cooperation with the production and supply chain team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for conducting routine and non-routine analyses (Visual and test data) of finished goods and raw materials
- Interpret test results and compare them to established specifications and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release
- Responsible for creation of Certificate of Acceptance (CoA) and final release of products
- Monitor performance against targets on a daily basis and promptly communicate the result with production
- Participate in validation, calibration, and preparation of quality related customer reporting
- Maintain laboratory equipment, manage and update calibration of equipment in the Calibration software
- Provide inputs for strong in-house quality procedures, standards, and specifications across departments
- Assist in training of company personnel in quality related Standard Operating Procedures
- Manage lab consumable incoming check and inventory management
- Assist Quality Manager in day to day task/support request
- Work in a quality conscious manner
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field, preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Basic computer experience required. Microsoft Office, Excel, and Microsoft AX experience, preferred.
- Availability to work in shift models (24/7 12 hour Rotating shifts)
- Knowledgeable of quality assurance requirements from multinationals.
