The Production Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in producing fibre boards. This includes the process of gluing paper to paper. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and meeting production efficiency and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production machinery involved in the fibre board and paper-gluing processes.
- Load and adjust paper rolls into the machine, ensuring they are set up correctly for production runs.
- Ensure proper alignment of paper and glue application, following production specifications.
- Monitor machine performance, adjusting settings as needed to maintain optimal production flow.
- Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet company standards for consistency and finish.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, material usage, and machine performance.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment in accordance with safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with other operators and team members to meet daily production goals.
- Communicate with supervisors and other departments regarding any issues or concerns with production.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of materials and finished products when needed.
- Enters finished load information on the computer for load tag creation when required.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (Required).
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot production machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to lift and carry materials as required for production.
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG SCREEN that includes THC.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing environment with varying noise levels, moving around or standing in 1 spot for extended periods of time uo to 10 hours.
- Exposure to seasonal indoor temperature variances between 50 – 90 degrees.
Physical Considerations:
- Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 60 pounds frequently throughout the day.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, lift, and move arms and hands freely at waist and above shoulders.
- Ability to climb stairs, navigate around industrial equipment and mount/dismount industrial equipment/vehicles.
- This position is identified as a safety sensitive position working around moving equipment and vehicles.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.66 - $22.01 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
