We seek dedicated and skilled Production Workers to join our dynamic team on the second and third-shift teams in a fast-paced paper manufacturing environment. As a Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and fabrication of products, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the production process. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a hands-on role and are eager to contribute to our operational success.
Duties
- Operate and monitor paper production machinery, including presses, cutters, and finishers.
- Load raw materials, monitor the production line, and ensure machines function properly.
- Perform product quality checks and report any defects or inconsistencies to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company safety standards.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production processes.
- Ensure timely completion of production tasks while meeting quality and safety standards.
- Document production data and maintain accurate records as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Ability to work with and operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Ability to work second or third-shift hours and overtime when necessary.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in paper manufacturing or related industries is a plus.
- Knowledge of production equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
