What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Administrative Support position at Fibreworks?
This position is responsible for various administrative tasks related to logistics such as processing shipping labels, purchasing packaging inserts, and scanning documentation. Logistics works closely with and is a valuable resource to other departments including sales, receiving, and invoicing. The ideal candidate should have excellent clerical skills.
Responsibilities
- Create UCC-128 shipping labels in StarShip for EDI accounts.
- Verify end of roll tags and make inventory adjustments accordingly.
- Purchase non-inventory items for shipments including but not limited to rug and broadloom inserts, packaging labels, etc.
- Enter shipment details into access database to create Bill of Lading (BOL) documents for transport of goods. Create master BOL for weekly truckloads.
- Provide freight quotes for the Sales Team. Research and identify competitive rates, including international when requested.
- Reconcile freight invoices, check for accuracy, and correct as needed.
- Create inside rug care labels.
- Scan completed paperwork into AssureScan. Manually scan any documents that did not upload successfully.
- Navigate various carrier portals to create documents for LTL shipments and/or returns as needed.
- Schedule LTL pickups and forward order paperwork for invoicing.
- Provide backup support for the Logistics Team as needed.
- Any other job duties as may be assigned.

- Punctual and ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
- Knowledge of Dynamics GP, Starship, and EDI processing preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
