Position Overview
As a Charge Nurse, you will play a key leadership role in providing high-quality patient care while overseeing daily nursing operations. You will support and mentor nursing staff, coordinate care plans, and ensure compliance with facility protocols and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned shifts
- Monitor patient care and ensure adherence to treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Manage staffing, assignments, and workflow to maintain efficient operations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and infection control protocols
- Provide direct patient care as needed and serve as a resource for the team
Requirements
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in LTAC, ICU, or acute care settings
- Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Prior supervisory experience is a plus
