Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical to join our team at Fidé. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality patient care within a medical/surgical setting. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine care needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide catheter care and manage airway for patients as required.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on discharge planning and post-care instructions.
- Utilize Cerner for accurate documentation of patient information and care activities.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the medical team.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care protocols.
- Experience in a medical/surgical setting preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and staff.
- Ability to perform catheter care, airway management, and discharge planning duties.
