We are looking for a Course Runner to join the Fiddler’s Family and share their passion for hospitality with our members, guests, and fellow staff members. Fiddler’s Elbow hosts a wide range of events from comedy shows and concerts to Fourth of July celebrations and New Year’s Eve festivities, our annual FiddleFest Music and Food Festival, Member White-Out Party, golf outings and sporting events. We also host smaller clubs within the Club, such as our beloved Book Club and Cigar Club. Our members host many private events like weddings, social events, and celebrations of life milestones.
The Course Runner is responsible for meeting the needs of Members and Guests during their experience at Fiddler’s Elbow. The Course Runner will be ensuring that the Grill Stations and Beverage Cart Stations are well stocked and maintained throughout the day. The Course Runner may assist the Grill Station Attendant with their duties, including selling snacks and beverages, maintaining a clean and organized work area, billing membership accounts and ensuring the smooth opening and closing of the Course Attendant and Grill Stations during business hours. This is an outdoor-based position at the Fiddler’s Pool that is fast-paced and involves constant customer interaction and creativity.
This is a Seasonal position with a preferred start date of May 1st and going through Labor Day weekend.
Essential Functions:
- Loads food and beverages from inventory in storage according to the needs of the Grill Stations
- Ability to operate a golf cart

Opening and closing duties associated with this station
- Set- up and break-down of stations
- Assist with moving of furniture on Club property
- Observe appropriate sanitation and safety standards while handling food and beverages
- Clean storage cart on a daily basis; ensure carts and stations are stored properly.
- Ensure all products and supplies are returned to their proper location at the end of every shift
- Communicate with Grill Stations to ensure inventory of food and beverages is maintained according to the needs of business.

Required Education/Experience:
- High School
Required Qualifications:
- Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language of our members/guests
- Must be able to operate a golf cart safely and efficiently; have a valid Driver’s License
- Ability to utilize caution when operating golf cart
- Must be able to follow proper food handling procedures
- Ability to follow Tagmarshal and Golf Map for appropriate route
- Must be a team player and willing to work well with others
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to handle many tasks at once
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe and lift to perform job functions
- Ability to reach, bend, lift, carry up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds
