What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Bartender position at Fiddler's Hearth?
Server for full service restaurant and bar, locally owned and operated since 2002 with strong following of loyal patrons. Scratch kitchen menu centered around traditional Celtic cuisine. Craft beers, whiskeys & scotches highlighted at the bar. Looking for servers experienced in high volume venues providing food & bar service. Ability to work as part of a team is a must.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers, providing menus and taking drink orders promptly.
- Deliver food and beverages efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Operate the POS system to process orders and handle payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Server/waiter experience in food service and restaurant environments
- Must have or obtain an Indiana Bartenders License (required to serve alcoholic beverages)
- Experience using POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety and handling practices
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash register duties
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
