Bartender/Server

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our Hooples family! The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing excellent service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Assist with serving, providing exceptional service to guests.
• Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and satisfaction for all patrons.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
• Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
