- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3 years in office management, administration, or operations in manufacturing/industrial settings preferred.
- Prior experience supervising administrative staff, especially in Shipping & Receiving.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and ability to resolve discrepancies.
- Solid math skills for payroll, reporting, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and inventory/payroll systems.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills to handle priorities and deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication to effectively interact with teams, management, customers, and vendors.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving environment.
- Detail-oriented mindset for accuracy in payroll, reporting, and administrative functions.
- Familiarity with high-volume or fast-paced industries is a plus.
- Willingness to work extended hours when needed to meet deadlines or support operations.
- Manage office organizing operations and procedures, prepare payroll, control correspondence, design filing systems, approve supply requisitions, and oversee clerical tasks.
- Coordinate with corporate to track invoices, maintain backup records, and ensure timely vendor payments.
- Gather daily end-of-shift documentation for internal and customer reporting requirements.
- Keep management updated by reviewing reports, summarizing data, and identifying trends.
- Coach, counsel, and discipline employees; plan, monitor, and appraise performance.
- Prepare payroll for processing to ensure accurate and timely employee payments.
- Report and maintain production records, inventory documentation, and shipping & receiving manifests.
- Resolve transaction discrepancies and manage carrier no-shows.
- Collect and process proof of delivery for customers as requested.
- Perform daily/weekly reconciliations to prevent pallet inventory variances.
- Support the process of hiring, onboarding, and training office personnel to ensure effective integration into the team and optimal job performance.
