The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, attracting, screening, and recommending candidates for various roles within our organization. This position will develop and execute recruitment strategies to ensure hiring goals are met with the best possible talent. Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to promote our organization’s value proposition and ensure a positive new hire experience.
This is an on-site position in Hunt Valley, MD.
What you will do:
- Work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, and sourcing strategies, and determine candidate selection criteria
- Create and post job ads and develop interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
- Source potential candidates through online channels and foster good relationships with potential candidates and past applicants
- Conduct thorough phone interviews with candidates, document interview notes in the Applicant Tracking System, and recommend qualified candidates
- Manage the hiring process and maintain recruiting reports in the Applicant Tracking System
- Conduct regular follow-ups with hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting efforts
- Serve as company ambassador; represent our company internally and externally at events with the goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities
What we hope you will bring to the table:
- 3 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role
- Experience recruiting for Skilled Tradespeople, preferred
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
- Strong sense of urgency, strong responsiveness, and the ability to handle working in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative thinker and proactive problem solver

Competitive Salary: Base Pay: $65k to $75k - Commensurate with experience. This range represents a general guideline; however, several factors are considered when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. We offer a compensation package that reflects your skills and experience.
