Job Title: Pharmacy Technician – Specialty (Certified or Registered)
At Fidelity Health Care, we are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to assist in the total prescription filling process.
Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work well with a multi-disciplinary team. They will possess problem-solving skills and be detail-oriented.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the prescription filling process, including data entry, inventory management, counting, labeling, filing, and billing of prescribed products.
- Coordinate care directly with patients and caregivers as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Work with other team members and outside entities to obtain/verify patient financial responsibilities.
- Deliver prescribed products to patient homes/treatment sites as directed.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification or registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy.
- 1-3 years of job-related experience, preferably in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer keyboard operations.
- The ability to compute simple algebraic ratios, volume/volume percentage, and weight/volume percentage.
