At Fidelity Health Care / Premier Health Specialty Pharmacy, we are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to assist in the total prescription filling process, including data entry, inventory management, counting, labeling, filing, and billing of prescribed products. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well with a multi-disciplinary team, and possess problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the total prescription filling process, including data entry, inventory management, counting, labeling, filing, and billing of prescribed products.
- Coordinate care directly with patients and caregivers as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Work with other team members and outside entities to obtain/verify patient financial responsibilities.
- Deliver prescribed products to patient homes/treatment sites as directed.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification or registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy.
- 1-3 years of job-related experience, preferably in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer keyboard operations.
- The ability to compute simple algebraic ratios, volume/volume percentage, and weight/volume percentage.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
