The Role

You are an upbeat change agent who has a passion for working with teams to help them connect our learners to training content as they need it. As a Learning Implementation Lead, you will work closely with all levels of the ELX Learning organization to drive process improvement opportunities. You will use your strong project management, communication, and consultation skills to lead the organization through sophisticated and multi-faceted program management. You will be a champion for agile values, practices, and processes to ensure that the organization is optimizing the features and benefits of our learning platforms.

The Learning Implementation Lead is part of the Agile Practices & Implementation Team and will be aligned to one or more teams across our TD&L organization. We partner with Talent and Learning Program organizations to drive quality, process improvement, scale, and efficiency in the deployment of learning solutions across the organization. We do this by leading and owning all aspects of training implementation and by focusing on end to end process optimization. This enables our TDL organization to continuously improve the learner experience and build a culture of continuous learning for all associates.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years of experience coordinating sophisticated programs, events, and projects
  • 3 years of experience with a learning management system (LMS); SumTotal preferred
  • Ability to establish rapport with senior leaders, managers, and associates
  • Ability to navigate multiple software platforms and systems
  • Outstanding organizational skills when balancing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Applies in-depth knowledge of cloud based LMS administration such as SumTotal
  • Experience driving improvements in streamlining organizational processes
  • Solve problems of moderate to sophisticated scope with minimal guidance
  • Program management of our core and common onboarding and upskill programs
  • Use data and data analysis tools to provide key insights to influence business decisions
  • Cultivate a broad network of relationships through mutual assistance, support and sharing information
  • Excellent project management skills and well-thought-out decision making and critical thinking
  • Ability to take initiative in an organized manner
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • Ability to influence outcomes and pivot as new initiatives and priorities emerge
  • Weighs the costs, benefits, risks, and changes for success before recommending a course of action

The Value You Deliver

  • Administration ownership of the learning management system (LMS). Providing administrative support and accountability including daily administration, reporting, employee inquiries/education on the LMS, and collaborating with internal customers
  • Collaborate and strategize with TD&L to lead and execute implementation plans. Responsible for program scheduling, implementation, registration, and technology.
  • Lead ongoing implementation of new hire, tenured, and event-triggered training courses while balancing the support of net new builds and squad needs
  • Building learning structures, set up audiences and make learning assignments, set notification templates, and generate sophisticated reporting through the LMS
  • Resolve Service NOW incidents and provide technical troubleshooting and assistance to platform users in navigating and completing training, raising system issues as applicable
  • Experienced knowledge and understanding of our learning platforms and their capabilities to support the associate learning experience – NovoEd, SumTotal, etc.
  • Pulling and manipulating data from the LMS to create periodic reporting using Excel – completion, course feedback
  • Maintain relations with business partners including operations, staffing, learning delivery, performance consultants, technology team and facilities
  • Utilizing agile principles to drive transformation and execution within TD&L
  • Coordinating vendor logistics (for class materials, training facilities, vendor facilitator access, vendor completion reporting, vendor surveys, vendor guidelines, catering, contingency strategy for inclement weather, etc.)
  • Handling class participant communications, including the training invitation, registration (create classes in the LMS and register associates) and pre-work/ post-work materials
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and address potential impediments that impact delivery commitments
  • Awareness and knowledge of and insight into the organization’s vision, structure, culture, and philosophy; ability to apply this understanding appropriately to diverse situations
  • Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside the organization
  • Champion our programmatic solutions through communication, and day to day oversight
  • Communicate progress and health of key programs and strategic plans

$64,000 - $100,000

This position is eligible for incentive compensation or an annual bonus opportunity.
