Do you have an analytical background with a passion for investing and Portfolio Management? Do you enjoy Working with Sales and Client Teams? As part of the Investment Services Support team, your input and analysis may help millions of 401k participants retire and live well in their retirement.
The investment analyst is critical to ensuring that all of the investment needs of Fidelity’s Corporate and Tax-Exempt Sales Organizations are met. This role encompasses responsibility for providing investment analysis to the prospect-facing team of account executives, investment strategist organization, and the outside consultant community. Intimate knowledge and objective analysis of both Fidelity and non-Fidelity products and industry trends is essential. Analysis could include investment information, fund mappings, 401(k) plan design commentary, and competitive mutual fund analysis for ultimate use by the plan sponsor and 3rd party consultant.
The Expertise and Skills We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years investment industry experience or equivalent
Bachelor’s Degree Required
Progress towards MBA or CFA preferred
You have proven time management skills and are a hard worker.
Your analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of investment statistics are one of your biggest strengths.
You have outstanding communication skills both oral and written
You have strong organizational skills and an ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
You thrive in a work environment that is deadline driven
You are able to work independently and take initiative without explicit direction balanced with the ability to work as a contributing member of the Sales Support team
You have a strong understanding of the internal and external economics of our business and the regulatory environment impacting our business.
Responsible for all investment related information for all Request for Proposals (RFPs), and Presentations, including strict adherence to the integrity of the investment data and information thereby protecting the organization’s reputation.
Crafting investment materials (Investment Proposals, fund comparisons, plan redesign, custom responses to RFP investment and fee related questions) to assist the plan sponsor and 3rd party consultant decision making process Investment Proposals.
Attending internal and external quarterly Portfolio Manager Meetings and internal product and service updates (e.g. advice & guidance products)
Continuing education to ensure knowledge of internal and state/federal regulatory compliance standards.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
