TREASURY ANALYST | GID – Boston, MA

DESCRIPTION:
The primary responsibility is to provide support on the cash management activities for GID and its institutional co-investment funds. In addition, this individual may assist with the company’s non-real estate investment activity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the cash management activities for the company and its institutional co-investment funds, across the company’s separate platforms.
- Facilitate the opening/closing of all bank accounts.
- Initiate foreign and domestic wires, verbally verifying wire instructions for any new beneficiaries. Ensure settlement of wires within required deadline.
- Maintain monthly archives of wire and ACH transfers, including handling e-mail confirmations.
- Support Know Your Customer (“KYC”) audit inquiries.
- Daily account monitoring for check/ACH activity, including screening for fraudulent activity.
- Monitor and track monthly account analysis for multiple banks to ensure all accounts are properly charged.
- Provide support with ACH direct deposit setup for recurring payments. Notify relevant groups of receipt or payment.
- Collaborate with internal partners including Accounting, Tax, AP, AR, etc., to ensure adequate account balances and/or funding needs.
- Assist AP with investigating and resolving vendor payment issues on our 3rd party payment applications.
- Provide backup administrative support on banking portals.
- Miscellaneous other tasks as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor of Science or Arts. A concentration in accounting, finance, or economics is helpful.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in banking, accounting or finance, ideally with some exposure to commercial real estate, is preferred.
- Computer proficiency, including Excel, is mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently.
- Willingness to take ownership and accept responsibility of projects.
- Enthusiasm to learn and grow with the department & company.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work well with a diverse group of individuals within and outside the company.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. Ability to articulate recommendations in a clear, concise and informed manner.
COMPENSATION:
- Compensation starts at $90,000 and may be higher based on experience, education, and qualifications, plus a 15% bonus potential.
