Job Description: The Role The Manager, Alternative Investments, Investor Relations services the associates of the fast-growing Alternative Investments Investor Relations team. We are looking for a seasoned manager who will lead, manage, and inspire a team of associates responsible for the end-to-end operational processing for the suite of Alternative funds. Navigate industry-wide processes and deal with moderately complex nuanced products to support transactional activity. Provide an exemplary client experience for all Fidelity clients. Ability to motivate associates to do better and empower them by training, coaching and mentoring them along the way Ability to create a culture of growth and development within the team and company You work well on teams and in cross-collaborative environments internally and externally You adopt an Agile way of work through continuous improvement, learning and sharing with a focus on the associate and client experience Ability to maintain effective and mutually beneficial working relationships with internal and external counterparts The Expertise and Skills You Bring Bachelors or equivalent Alternatives experience preferred, but not required 5 years of experience in a manager role Experience overseeing employee performance and development, including performance appraisal and the mentoring, coaching, and training of managers and junior team members The Team We are a newly created and expanding team here at Fidelity, servicing the suite of Alternative Investment products that have been created and launched by Fidelity.
