Director Investor Center Technology Enablement
The Role
Fidelity’s Investor Center Technology Enablement team oversees technology operations in more than 200 local Investor Centers across the United States. Our analyst are pivotal partners, translating associate and business needs into actionable solutions that deliver tangible value across all technology capabilities and platforms. As an Investor Center Technology Analyst, you will:
- Provide visibility into the IT environment (infrastructure, end user compute, business applications) and see the impact to business services. Predict issues, minimize user impact and speed remediation.
- Identify and guide continual service improvement needs. Analyze these needs to ensure they align with business objectives and are feasible within a given technology’s products scope.
- Create detailed user stories that outline specific functionalities from the associate’s perspective. Define acceptance criteria that determine when a user story is considered complete and ready for release.
- Engage with Product Teams, Legal, Risk, and Compliance to ensure requirements and solutions meet operations standards, legal/regulatory requirements and minimize potential risks to the firm.
- Participate in business acceptance testing to ensure that the solutions meet the defined requirements. Validate that the product functions as expected and address any issues before deployment.
- Develop and implement strategies for introducing new products or features to associates. Plan the rollout process to minimize disruption, maximize learning, and ensure a smooth transition for users.
- Analyze associate data and feedback to gauge the effectiveness of solutions and identify areas for improvement. Report findings to stakeholders to inform future project decisions and strategies.
- Provide a deep understanding of how the IT products work. Document and explain these concepts clearly, bridging the gap between associates and development teams.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree required.
- A passion for bringing together people, process, and technology needs to serve associates.
- 12 years of business analysis experience including experience with successful development, delivery and production support of technology solutions.
- Excel at building relationships and networks; influencing others to achieving outcomes.
- Ability to navigate within a highly complicated, matrixed environment.
- Demonstrated interest in digital user experience, associate technology and industry trends.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders to clearly articulate requirements, facilitate discussions, manage expectations, and ensure alignment.
- Ability to break down complex problems into manageable components, synthesizing data-driven insights into clear takeaways to drive informed decision-making.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and change, and able to quickly adapt and adjust approach to accommodate shifting priorities or new information.

The Investor Center Technology Enablement teams’ purpose is to improve the Investor Center associates experience and boost productivity so they can help more people. We simplify navigation of a complex IT organization across Fidelity, increase visibility to business needs, improve operational efficiency and ensure a great IT experience. Team members share a set of core product management and analytical skills, along with differentiating skills that are suited to the squad to which they are aligned.

Fidelity’s hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences. Having the majority of our associates work onsite is important for our business strategy and our culture.
