AP Accounting Clerk
We are looking for the perfect candidate to expand our accounting team!
Applicants should have:
- A strong background in Accounts Payable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A passion for attention to detail, consistency, professionalism and
- timeliness
- Knowledge of accounting processes, debits, credits, month end close,
- three-way match, etc
- A strong background in Microsoft Office Suite, with some experience
- navigating in ERP systems
- The ability to work independently, and as a team when needed
- The desire to cross-train in other accounting positions.
Overview
The Accounts Payable Clerk will assist in ensuring vendors receive payment for goods and services offered to us in a timely and professional manner. Main
responsibilities include processing invoices and payments, verifying and updating customer files, and providing excellent internal and external customer service.

Essential Functions
- Processing material invoices using three-way-match
- Receives, verifies and processes weekly expense reports
- Communicates with Accountants, Purchasing, Inventory and outside
- vendors to resolve issues with PO’s receiving and payment
- Reconciles assigned accounts for month-end closing.
- Files, scans, and organizes accounting records, and provides adequate
- notes for future research.
Education and Experience
- 2 years in an AP role.
- Combination of education and experience will be considered
