Position summary
An inventory clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate records of raw materials, work-in-progress inventory, and finished goods
within the warehouse, stock room or production floor.
Essential Functions
- Update inventory management system.
- Regularly conduct physical counts of inventory.
- Verifies quantities and quality of received materials.
- Coordinate with production planning, purchasing, and quality control teams to maintain smooth inventory flow.
- Skill in handling multiple task and prioritizing.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work with frequent interruptions and changes in priorities.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with other employees and the public.
- Knowledge of basic mathematics.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all Fidelity team.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficient with inventory management systems and computer applications
- Basic math skills for calculations
- Good organization skills and ability to prioritize task
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: 1-3 years’ experience in an inventory management or supply chain-based role.
