Pay is $17.00 - $18.00 per hour shift premium of 10% for 2nd shift

Job Summary
The Material Processor / Chop Saw Operator will use a chop saw to cut aluminum pieces of varying lengths and configurations.
The Material Processor / Chop Saw Operator will use a chop saw to cut aluminum pieces of varying lengths and configurations.
Essential Job Functions
- Plans details of work order procedures; gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job.
- Must be able to read a tape measure to the 16th
- Must have aluminum cut experience
- Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area.
- Move parts and heavy sticks of aluminum on and off machinery up to 50lbs and throughout the facility
- Minimal forklift experience
- Attention to detail
Education and Experience
- Aluminum chop saw experience
- No degree required
Equipment/Machinery Used
Chop saw, 4.5 inch and 7-inch angle grinder, and various clamps and fixtures; forklift, tape measure, hand tools.

Required Qualifications/Training
- Background check and pre-employment drug screening required
- Thorough understanding of chop saw machines.
- Basic understanding of design techniques, principles, and tools necessary for the precise production of technical plans, drawings, models and blueprints.
- Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms.
Please note: All employees must also be able to work in a warehouse setting that includes exposure to noise, all weather conditions, small levels of airborne particles and occasionally lift more than 50-75lbs. Safety training and equipment are provided by MPP in accordance with applicable law, industry standards, and company policy.
